Introduction to CommunityPoint 3.0
What is CommunityPoint?
CommunityPoint is a powerful website application designed to increase public access to community resources. It enables managers of information and referral data to publish and edit data in a real time environment. CommunityPoint provides seamless integration with the ResourcePoint data captured in your local community’s ServicePoint installation.
Because CommunityPoint is a web-based application, it is accessed via a web browser with a provided URL.
The CommunityPoint Homepage is the point of access for all links to the site. On this page, you will notice a series of links on the left or along the top of the page that will take you to different sections of the application. This table of links will appear on all pages within CommunityPoint. The center of the page also contains directive links, again designed to take you to other sections of this application. Note that not all the links on the left (or top) and in the center of the page are the same.

The page format of CommunityPoint may differ in your version. The way your page is displayed depends on the Template that is currently in place. This Template is set by Bowman Systems in accordance with the CommunityPoint Administrator. |
